Principal’s Message

Greetings Panther Families and Community,

It is truly an honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Phillis Wheatley Elementary School. I am excited to return to the Wheatley community and begin this new chapter alongside our incredible students, families, staff, and community partners.

At Wheatley, we believe that every child can learn, grow, and achieve at high levels when provided with high-quality instruction, meaningful relationships, and a safe and supportive learning environment. Our commitment is to ensure that every student feels valued, challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

As we move forward together, our focus will remain on strengthening teaching and learning, increasing student achievement, building a positive school culture, and creating meaningful partnerships with our families and community. We know that educating children is a team effort, and your involvement and partnership are essential to our success.

I believe deeply in the power of relationships, high expectations, consistency, and celebrating growth along the way. Together, we will continue building a school where students are excited to learn, teachers are empowered to teach, families feel welcomed and connected, and everyone takes pride in being a Panther.

I look forward to an amazing school year filled with learning, growth, collaboration, and celebration. This is our season, and together, we will continue building a championship school! Thank you for entrusting us with your children and for being an important part of Panther Nation.
